Prices are per person unless stated otherwise, with hotel pick-up in Hurghada included. Children aged 0–5 go free and children aged 6–11 pay half price on trips suitable for their age. There are no booking fees, and you can cancel for free up to 24 hours before.
How does a desert safari work?
- Hotel pick-up: our driver picks you up at your hotel in Hurghada and takes you to the safari camp at the edge of the desert.
- Safety briefing: you receive a scarf and goggles, and the instructor explains how to drive the quad or buggy.
- Desert ride: you follow the guide in a line across sandy tracks and rocky valleys, with photo stops along the way.
- Bedouin village: Bedouin tea, bread baked on the fire and a short camel ride or photo with a camel.
- Dinner and show (evening trips): buffet dinner, oriental show and stargazing far from the city lights.
- Return to your hotel.
Best time for a desert safari
Desert safaris run all year. From October to April the weather is pleasant and daytime trips are comfortable. In summer (June to September) the midday heat is strong, so we recommend a morning or sunset safari. For the best photos and the most beautiful light, choose the sunset: the desert turns golden, then the sky fills with stars. In winter the desert gets cold after dark, so bring a warm layer for evening trips.

Do I need a driving licence to ride a quad?
No. The quads are automatic and easy to drive, and an instructor guides the group the whole time. Beginners are welcome.
Is a desert safari suitable for children?
Yes, but choose the right trip. Some quad trips are for ages 16 and over. For families with young children, the jeep safari with dinner and show is the easiest option. Ask us on WhatsApp and we will advise the best trip for your family.
Quad or buggy: which is better?
A quad feels more sporty and adventurous. A buggy has a steering wheel, seatbelts and room for two, so it is easier to drive and more comfortable. Couples often prefer the buggy.
Do you pick up from other resorts?
Yes. Pick-up in Hurghada is free. From El Gouna, Makadi Bay and Sahl Hasheesh there is a supplement of €10 per person, and from Soma Bay and Safaga €15 per person.
