Mon Hurghada (monhurghada.com) organises excursions and transfers in Hurghada, Egypt. This page explains what personal data we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
1. Data we collect
- Booking and enquiry details: your name, email, phone/WhatsApp number, hotel, trip date, number of people and the guide language you choose.
- Passport copies: only when you send them through our passport page, because some sites require permits with the travellers’ names.
- Payment: online payments are handled by PayPal. We never see or store your card details.
- Technical data: basic cookies and statistics (for example Google Analytics) to understand how the website is used.
2. Why we use it
- To confirm your booking, arrange your hotel pick-up and contact you on WhatsApp, phone or email about your trip.
- To obtain the permits needed for some excursions.
- To answer your questions and improve our website.
We do not sell your data and we do not send you advertising emails.
3. Who can see it
Only the Mon Hurghada team, and, when needed for your trip, the guide or driver in charge of it. Payment providers (PayPal) process their part under their own privacy policies.
4. How long we keep it
- Passport photos are deleted automatically 7 days after your excursion.
- Booking details are kept only as long as needed for the service and for our accounting.
